Here are some resources to help you review for the end of unit chemistry quiz.
Video questions:
Atoms can't ever be ____________________ or ___________________ in a chemical reaction. The atoms must always be ________________ on each side of the equation. What is the term used for the elements and compounds before the reaction takes place? What is the term used for the elements and compounds after a chemical reaction takes place? How do you know when a chemical equation is balanced? Please do not forget to prepare for your assessment on Thursday. The quiz will be over counting atoms and elements in chemical formulas. It will also include questions from every learning target we have addressed during the second quarter. If you did not do well the first (or second) time, now is your time to show me that you really know it. There are review activities included in the previous post for counting atoms and elements. If you go back to unit two in the 8th grade in class menu, you will find review activities for all of the previous topics.
While you are home enjoying yet ANOTHER snow day, it would be very beneficial for you to do some practice on counting atoms and elements in chemical formulas. You can find some practice below.
